Days between dates
The days between two dates is the number of midnights between them: from March 1 to March 31 is 30 days, or 31 days if you count both end dates. This calculator also shows the same span in weeks, in years, months and days, and as a count of Monday to Friday weekdays.

Questions
Does “days between” include the first and last day?
By default no: it counts the nights between them. Tick the include box to count both ends, which adds one day.
How are months and years counted?
Whole calendar months are counted first, and the remaining days are shown separately, so the breakdown always adds back to the start date.
Are weekdays the same as business days?
No. The weekday count only skips Saturdays and Sundays. For holidays, use the business days calculator.
